Early prep
    * Create list of contacts for hunting for potential charging sites

    * Create list of contacts for media outlets
        * Newspapers (local, major metro, national)

    * Create list of contacts for potential talk locations

    * Acquire or determine how to acquire (own, rent, or borrow):
        * At least two quality digital video cameras

    * Gather list of any groups or individuals that could possibly help (volunteer or for fee) with changing the charger for a higher power one, if need be.
    * Gather contact for advocacy groups that might be interested (Plug-In America, Lightning Rod Foundation, etc)
    * Make packing list
    * Prep literature, maps, and props


Mid prep
    * Start acquiring items from the packing list
    * Finish acquiring items from the packing list
    * Pack up the hiking backpacks
    * Start contacting and building full and precise lists:
        * Charging sites
        * Media outlets
        * Potential talk locations
        * Camera equipment providers
        * Potential footage assistance
    * Check for road closures
    * Contact Aptera and make them aware of the trip (if not already)


Late prep
    * Test car in a variety of conditions; gather real-world data and adjust route appropriately
    * Finish making any reservations needed
    * Drive to hotel near the Petersen museum for the start of the shooting
    * Launch "RECharge Across America" tour
